Professional

Kim is a skilled counsellor and therapist. Her counselling training includes over 30 years of supporting people with their concerns. Her earlier work was with clients diagnosed with cancer and with grief and bereavement issues as an Oncology and Palliative Care Nurse, Clinical Nurse Consultant and Nurse Educator.

Her counselling agency experience includes working in women’s health in the community, working in a busy city community outreach counselling practice, working with women housed in a refuge fleeing domestic violence. In private practice Kim has been educating and counselling parents of troubled teenagers and offering workshops. Over the past 4 years, Kim’s training in Emotionally Focused Counselling and Therapy, has led her into focusing on Individual and couple counselling and therapy. 

Personal

Kim lives in Sydney and has been married for over 22 years. She is mother to four children aged 26, 20, 18 and 16 and a grandmother. She has 3 young adults living at home and splits her time between being a mum and grandmother ('Nanni'), wife, professional counsellor and manager of Waymount Farm
